Sometimes more than just our usual cosmetic retouching is required. In this example, our Bride really liked the image but the pose was uncomplimentary to her neckline. Many times unflattering appearances can be fixed with proper lighting so we made a small adjustment to the neck area and changed the shadow area for a more correct appearance.
Better images from the start
The camera may be just the beginning but without the proper camera it is the end. We use exclusively FujiFilm's S series cameras that feature a digital sensor specifically designed for portraits/wedding photography.
There is a very long, boring technical explanation about digital sensors but, in simple terms, more megapixels is not the answer to producing a high quality image. Film, until the introduction of these new sensors, has been superior to digital.
Photography is the art of recording reflected light so proper lighting is as important as the camera. Here again there is a very long, boring technical explanation but, in simple terms, we control and shape the light so you look your very best.
